A LITTLE ABOUT THE COMPANY
Stemtac LLC was created to provide STEM Curriculum, Program, & Technology Development, Education Policy & Technology Consulting. We advise individual nonprofit organizations, institutions, small/medium/large education sector businesses, regarding access to capital, grant applications, project proposals, IT infrastructure, and more.
Stemtac LLC. serves high-need youth of colour and their families, in underserved and underrepresented communities throughout Washington State. We consistently work to serve similar demographics of people throughout our neighbourhoods. We work with youth, their families, and other community members. Our programming ranges from in and out-of-school technical skill building and capacity building for professionals and civic engagement and support for our community members.
Stemtac LLC. was founded on the intersection of STEM education and community development. In an effort to build the equitable resources needed for communities of colour, Stemtac is leveraging and expanding upon its current partnerships with schools, Community Based Organizations (CBOs), and local elected officials to understand their community better and analyze their effectiveness.

A LITTLE ON THE FOUNDER
Al Herron
Al Herron is a Particle Physicist, Electrical Engineer, and Entrepreneur who is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Management, Strategy & Innovation Specialization.
He has spent his career pushing the boundaries of Compact Linear Accelerator Technology, driving new business development opportunities, and working with business owners and entrepreneurs for educational and economic equity in under-served areas. After spending ample time in each realm of his passions, he has found meaningful ways to bring it all together to produce a positive impact on both his career ambitions and his commitment to serving the community, with special emphasis on STEM Curriculum & Program Development.
Mr Herron is currently serving on the Board for the Equity in Education Committee, the Lake Washington School District Equity Team, the Programs Committee for Treehouse of Seattle, and now on the Board for the Black Education Strategies Roundtable.

We also administratively manage, support, and provide curriculum & program design for Stemtac Foundation, a community-based organization that has been providing education enrichment services along the I5 corridor, including Tacoma proper, since 2013.
